Introduction to Malaga - Ardales
Lying inland from the popular southern coastline of Spain, northwest of the city of Malaga, Ardales is a charming little hillside town that remains far enough from the Mediterranean to escape the majority of tourists to the area. Head to the ruins of the old castle on the nearby hillside for the best of the town's history and scenic views. This area makes an ideal spot for walking and, for those that can make it, the very top of town features the Del Calvario Hermitage and some of the best vistas in the area. Just five miles north of the city is the most scenic spot of the entire Malaga region, Embalse del Conde de Guadalhorce, a series of lakes and rivers surrounded by protected forests; it ranks as a major attraction during summer. There are only a handful of Ardales hotels, a sure sign of the lack of tourists, so booking in advance is strongly advised.other spellings: ardale otel, ardals hote, adales hotles, ardaels hotle, ardalas hotes
