Introduction to Madrid - Fuenlabrada
The district of Fuenlabrada is situated to the southwest of the main centre of Madrid, with a good sized population. As a place to stay, it is handy for the peripheral ring road of the capital, the Autopista M-50, with plenty of nearby attractions. Those include the local Polovranca Park and the old church of Inglesia se San Esbastaban. In fact, there are a few more good parks and gardens close to this suburb, and those are Alhondiga Park and Liana Park. For a place which is close to the city but has a good suburban ambiance, Fuenlabrada is just about ideal. Commuting by rail is easy on the Madrid metro via Line C-5 to Fuenlabrada Station in the town centre. Feunlabrada hotels are located just off the main route and cover standard three-star places as well as some conference-style business establishments.
