Introduction to Madrid - Cuzco
The Madrid metro station of Cuzco is on Line 10 of the network, around five kilometres north of the city centre and its central plaza of Puerta del Sol. The station is adjacent to the intersection of Paseo de la Castellana and Calle de Sor Angela de la Cruz, the two main highways in the north of Madrid. Cuzco hotels are a great option for visitors travelling to the city by car and then switching to public transport. The home ground of top La Liga football club Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is a 400m walk south or one stop away on the metro. The San Fernando and Plaza de Castilla parks are close to Cuzco Station. There is a great choice of restaurants serving a full range of traditional Spanish fare, from tapas appetisers to roast suckling pig (cochinillo asado), in the district. While the area does not offer as many bars as Madrid’s city centre, there are enough to provide travellers with a good choice in which to spend their evenings. Visit our Madrid Travel Guide
