Llansa is a major coastal tourist destination located on the northeastern coast of Spain, adjacent to the French border. The ragged coastline here is breathtaking and the ocean an amazing blue colour. It is not only the beaches that attract visitors, but also the unspoilt nature, mountains and nature reserves. In the Old Town, visitors will find a Romanesque tower dating back to the 12th century. Inside, visitors will find a small exhibit showcasing the history of the town. The town is also home to the first watercolour-only museum in Spain, showcasing Martinez Lozano's paintings as well as those of other famous Spanish artists. The port area remains an important part of the town's economy, and fishing boats can be seen coming in at around 04:30 every weekday morning. A great daytrip is to visit Deciana, an ancient city dating back to 218 BC, located on the outskirts of Llansa.
