The coastal town of Fuengirola is an extremely popular tourist area in Spain. It is an area known for its budget hotels, and the package holiday tourists. Hotels in Fuengirola are mostly large, high rise buildings with everything on site, such as restaurants, bars, shops, gyms, pools, children’s facilities and beauty shops. All of the Fuengirola hotels are located on the coast, or within a short walking distance of it, as the beach is why so many tourists come to the town. Alongside all of the hotels, you will find plenty of restaurants, many of which offer a special tourist set menu for a very low price, though usually the rest of the food is a little more expensive. Mixed in with the hotels in Fuengirola, are high rise apartment blocks, used mainly as holiday apartments. The hotels on the edge of town, but still on the coast are best for families, as they are not too close to the nightlife areas.
