Introduction to Costa Tropical - La Herradura
Granada is one of the great attractions of the southwest of Spain and within the province there are a number of places to stay, such as La Herradura, which also comes under the titles of Almunecar and Costa Tropical. The town is a tourist centre where it is easy to find good La Herradura hotels, restaurants and attractions. There are two excellent beaches in Herradura Bay, but this southern coast of Spain features one superb beach after another. The favourite local viewpoints are at Punta La Mona, where the development of quality properties and the marina has made it an attraction in its own right. At the other end of the bay is Cerro Gordo, which is a protected area where development has been resisted, making it an ideal spot for those keen on the natural world and the unspoilt environment. Despite the fact that the original village has grown over recent years with new restaurants and bars, the community has retained its low-rise structure. The very typical Spanish whitewashed buildings are a feature of the village, which is easy to get to on the A374 which runs along the coast.other spellings: laherradura otel, l herradura hote, la heradura hotles, la herredura hotle, la herradora
