Introduction to Costa Brava - L’Estartit
The coastal region of Costa Brava in the province of Girona, Spain, is a hidden gem for visitors from all over Europe and abroad. While parts of the coast hold huge potential for explosive tourist growth, many areas have remained untouched by development and so have retained their charming traditional atmosphere. Lying in the extreme north-eastern reaches of Spain, lies L'Estartit; perhaps the most popular of Costa Brava’s many beautiful little resort towns. This fishing village in particular offers visitors a plethora of fun things to do, including fishing in the harbour, sampling the delicious local seafood cuisine at the town’s many waterfront restaurants and going on day excursions to the nearby national park.
