Introduction to Costa Brava - Aiguablava
In one of the most spectacular clifftop settings along the Costa Brava, tourists will find the beautiful town of Aiguablava (Aigua Blava). Sunny whitewashed houses, verdant hills and sparkling turquoise waves are only part of the allure here - the residents of Aiguablava are notoriously fun and friendly, welcoming tourists to relax in their sophisticated city. Ride horses along the beach and go snorkelling in the Mediterranean or explore unspoiled coves along Spain's northeastern coast. Tourists staying in Aiguablava hotels can see beautiful Romanesque churches and Gothic monuments in the neighbouring village of Pals, or walk through forests full of exotic birds at Aiguamols National Park. The Gala-Dali museum in Pubol is a former residence of the artist, minutes from the ancient village of Peratallada and its grand medieval fortress. A number of delicious seafood restaurants overlook the bay, filled with sailboats and chartered ships during the summer. The town is brimming with activity during these months and festivals and outdoor concerts occupy venues all over the area. Across the bay is the serene fishing village of Fornells, offering visitors a charming taste of local life.other spellings: aiguablavahotels, aiguablava otel, aiguablava hotell, aiguablava hote, aiguablava hotes
