Introduction to Cadiz - Algeciras
Algeciras is located in the south of Spain and is an important port overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar. The city is connected by the A7 motorway, making it easy to access from neighbouring regions. The Rio de la Miel, the southernmost river in continental Europe, is just north of the city centre. Tourists flock to the port city all year round to enjoy the warm weather, the blue seas and the white sands along the coastline. Algeciras hotels are ideally located for getting around the city or heading to the beaches of Getares and Rinconcillo. A highlight of the city is the stunning Plaza Alta, while the close by district of San Isidro is also worthy of a visit. Dining in the city is best done along Calle Alfonso Once or Avenida de la Marina, with the Plaza Alta area also featuring dozens of authentic local eateries that stay open late. Outside of the city are two of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, Estrecho and Los Alcornocales natural parks, both of which feature a diversity of wildlife and plant life, and make for a great day out.other spellings: algecires otel, algeceras hote, elgeciras hotles, aljeciras hotle, allgeciras hotes
