Introduction to Burgos - Plaza de Toros
Burgos is a historical city in northern Spain with just under 180,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the province, which goes by the same name, and is located on the edge of the central plateau. The city has a number of historic landmarks, including the Cathedral of Burgos, the Cartuja of Miraflores and Las Huelgas Reales Monastery, all of which can be easily reached from Plaza de Toros. Plaza de Toros is situated near the city centre, on the north side of the river and less than two kilometres from the cathedral. Plaza de Toros hotels are ideally located close to many of the city's main landmarks. The city has a high reputation for its fine cuisine, of which the most famous offering is queso de Burgos, the fresh cheese with goat-milk flavour which is served up in many of the local restaurants. In addition, there are some excellent fish dishes on offer.other spellings: plaza detoros otel, plaza dertoros hote, plasa de toros hotles, plaza de tros hotle
