Introduction to Burgos - Aranda de Duero
Located in the province of Burgos, just 84kms to the south of Burgos city, the town of Aranda de Duero boasts an impressive range of architecture. While some of the town's most famous landmarks date back to the heyday period of the 15th century, visitors will also find plenty of modern Aranda de Duero hotels and other buildings here which make wandering through the heart of the town an uplifting and endlessly rewarding experience. One of the town's most famous landmarks is the Isabelline-Gothic church of Santa Maria, which was built between the 15th and 16th centuries. The church is famed for its southern facade, which features relief scenes depicting the Adoration of the Magi, while the church of San Juan Bautista boasts a stunning façade consisting of nine archivolts. Also of interest is the Palace of Verdugo, which was founded in the 15th century, while on the outskirts of town is the impressive sanctuary of the Virgin of Vinas. other spellings: aranda deduero otel, aranda duero hote, aranda de duaro hotles, aranda de deuro hotle
