Avila is a small autonomous community in Spain situated within the Castile and Leon of the Avila province. Situated 1117 metres above sea level, Avila holds the title as the highest capital within Spain. Although the winters are long and the summers are short, Avila still enjoys a considerable amount of tourists throughout the year.
