Introduction to Altea - Beach
Located along Spain's stunning Costa Blanca is the pretty little town of Altea. One of the most appealing things about the town is the fact it has maintained much of its fishing village feel from past times. The charming, narrow cobbled streets offer a traditional Spanish feel and provide occasional glimpses of the beautiful bay area. There is over five kilometres of beach which is split into different sections. To the north of the Altea is the Cap Negret, while the Cap Blanc and the La Roda are located towards the south. Pueblo Macarat is the most central beach and is situated by the yacht harbour. The beaches in Altea are not the golden sandy ones found along much of the Coast Blanca but they are still pleasant and offer scenic spots to relax. The Parque de San Pedro is a peaceful place to enjoy a stroll and is found just north of the harbour. Altea Beach hotels provide a range of accommodation for all sorts of travellers.
