Introduction to Almeria - Almerimar
Located on the Mediterranean Sea in southern Spain's Almeria region, the town of Almerimar is amongst the most attractive and popular places in what is one of the world's greatest tourist regions. Hotels in Almerimar enjoy a fantastic combination of stunning seaside attractions and excellent access to modern amenities. Golfers might love it more than anybody else, as there is a course right next door, pretty well dominating the community. On the waterfront, the town's vast harbour contains a large marina. The wide, sandy beach is easy to reach and follows most of the bay, providing plenty of room to relax or walk. A large nature park to the east offers nature seekers plenty of scope to watch hundreds of bird species. The A7/E-15 expressway is less than 15 minutes away, just south of the larger town of El Ejido. This puts the amenities, airport and ferry port at Almeria about 45 minutes away.
