Introduction to Alicante - Benissa
Benissa is one of the oldest towns along Spain's stunning Costa Blanca, offering historic sightseeing opportunities and a taste of old-world Spanish life in its location in the province of Alicante. Although it is not situated directly along the coast, it is only four kilometres away, making it an ideal holiday destination. Its medieval town centre consists of narrow streets and beautiful historic buildings, and also houses some fantastic Benissa hotels. Its Palace of Torres-Orduna is well worth visiting and is within walking distance of Benissa. Being situated along the A-7 highway makes it easy to get in and out of this town to visit neighbouring districts such as Altea, Calp and Teulada. Within these towns are some great sights to behold, such as Altea's church of La Mare de Deu del Consol, Calp's Els banys de la Reina ruins and the Church of St Catherine in Teulada. This area within Alicante is a great place for a relaxing holiday that also offers plenty to see.other spellings: benisa otel, banissa hotell, benessa hote, bennissa hotles, bennisa hotle, benizza
