The hotel was constructed by the Duke of San Pedro de Galatino who embarked upon this ambitious and beautiful project, inaugurated in 1910 by King Alfonso XIII. The building resembles an Andalusian palace, with a terracotta facade and white balconies on the upper floors. The top of the building is finished with a traditional Andalusian design and a colourful tiled dome.
