Visitors who have been in areas where there have been outbreaks of yellow fever are required to have proof of inoculation against the disease before entering South Korea. It is always wise to ensure that you have secured all of your booster shots such as tetanus prior to departing.

Air pollution has become a serious problem in many major cities and built up areas in South Korea. Asthmatic patients are advised to take their medication with them and sensitive people should be aware that the pollution may also irritate the eyes and skin.
