Introduction to Ulsan, South Korea
The vibrant industrial coastal city of Ulsan, the seventh largest in South Korea, can be found in the South Gyeongsang region, just 70kms from Busan. People travel here from all over South Korea and the rest of the world to go whale watching, and those who are lucky will be able to catch a glimpse of one of these mighty mammals. However, the whales tend to be rather illusive, and many people will have to content themselves with the simple pleasures of the pretty boat ride. Picturesque mountains surround the city, and this is an excellent place for trekking. Visitors can opt to take a guided trekking tour to discover the area's natural beauty or go it alone. An excellent range of cheap and cheerful Ulsan hotels can be found close to the Taehwa River Station, from where high-speed trains depart to Seoul, while more up-market offerings are situated around Ulsan Grand Park, which is a great place to take a stroll. other spellings: ulsanhotels, ursan otel, ursan hotell, ursen hote, ursen hotes
