Introduction to Gyeongju - City Centre
Gyeongju is out on the south eastern coast of South Korea with a history and culture going back 1,000 years. The city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a popular holiday destination for South Korean nationals. With good communications to the capital it has become an interesting place for visitors who can use one of the Gyeongju hotels as a base for touring the area. South Korea is a country which has kept its historical roots, despite its standing as a major industrial power. In the city centre the Gyeongju hotels are high standard international properties, but the area does have the more traditional Korean style places.
