The north side of the property faces the Stallenbosch and Helderberg mountains and, from the south, False Bay and Table Mountain may be viewed in the distance. There are 2 golf courses either side of the hotel. The hotel provides state-of-the-art conference rooms, a fine dining restaurant, sports bar and sun deck overlooking the Blaauwklippen vineyards. There is also an outdoor swimming pool overlooking vineyards.

The en-suite rooms all rooms have satellite TV, tea / coffee making facilities, telephone, air-conditioning, electronic safe, computer/multi plug points and balcony. The rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains.

The Aristata Restaurant offers traditional buffet breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinners. Next to the restaurant is a resident's bar with sun deck overlooking the vineyards, golf course and mountains. The bar has a large projection TV, popular for all sporting occasions and live entertainment in the evenings.

The lobby is bright with white painted walls, has a tiled floor and small reception desk. The reception is open 24 hours a day and there is a porter service.

A modern building built in the Dutch Cape style common in the winelands and Western Cape area. Painted white and grey the hotel is just 2 storeys tall and has a large communal balcony area at the rear offering fantastic views of the surrounding winelands.
