Protea Hotel King George - George

A good 4 star hotel popular with travellers using George as a base for exploring the Garden Route. Also a great place to stay if you are a golf fan as it is next to a number of George's golf courses which are seen as the best in the country. The hotel also has conference facilities, a business centre and plenty of free parking.

All of the rooms are en-suite and spacious and have satellite TV, air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities and a desk and chair.

There is a large restaurant serving good buffet lunch and dinner.

A medium size bright and attractive lobby with high ceiling. The reception desk is to the left as you enter and a internet station is straight ahead.

Dutch in style the hotel is split in to a series of blocks all painted white with green roofs. The buildings have courtyards with landscaped gardens and two have swimming pools in the centre of the courtyard.
