Lady Hamilton Hotel - Cape Town

The hotel has an excellent bar to the right of the lobby as you enter the hotel. The bar and lounge area has been beautifully decorated by a local designer using African artifacts. There is a small outdoor swimming pool with sundeck and sun loungers; drinks and snacks can be ordered by the pool. Laundry and dry cleaning facilties are available to guests. Free parking is available.

The rooms are spacious and of a good standard and all have en-suite bathrooms. Each room has air-con, tea/coffee making facilties, telephone, a writing desk as well as satellite TV.

The restaurant area is bright and colourful with large windows leading out to the swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner are served here daily with a varied menu serving specialised dishes from all over Africa as well as European and Asian cuisine.

The medium size lobby is nicely decorated with African atrtifacts. To the left is the reception (24 hour service) desk and in front is a small comfortable sofa-seating area for guests use.

Painted pink, this 3 storey building is a good example of original Cape architecture in the area.
