Johannesburg airport, or Or Tambo International Airport, is located in the town of Kempton Park, close to the South African city of Johannesburg, and is Africa's busiest airport with a passenger throughput of up to 28 million people every year. The flagship facility is one of only three world airports providing air travel to and from all six continents. The main hub for the national flag carrier, South African Airways, the airport is also the hub for tourist travel across the whole of South Africa with its domestic services linking with international routes. Johannesburg Airport hotels serve both business travellers in the diamond and gold trade and over-nighting holidaymakers, with one luxury hotel located in the complex and a number of others on the R24 freeway approach road and in the town of Kempton Park, a short distance from the airport.
