This is a very good 3* hotel and perfect for those wanting to be centrally located and to stay in comfortable, very good budget rooms. The restaurant serves great food and the bar is also good. There is a roof-top jacuzzi with views of table mountain and Internet facilities at the hotel.
The rooms are all of a very high 3* standard, and are unique in design and decor, with pieces of art adorning the walls. The rooms are all en-suite with large, comfortable beds, satellite TV, telephone and a writing desk and chair. These are amongst the best 3* rooms in the city.
The restaurant is called Patat and offers a mixture of Malay, Dutch and Portuguese cuisine. Breakfast is also served in this ground floor restaurant, which is also a popular cafe with guests and locals. It is a vibrant and colourful, modern restaurant with plenty of seating and there is a bar at its centre.
Lobby:
A small lobby that is open plan, spilling onto the stylish restaurant area. The reception desk is immediately on your right as you enter the hotel. A bright and welcoming entrance.
Exterior:
Built in 1930, the building is art deco in style, and has glass windows across the whole of the ground floor entrance and restaurant, giving it a very bright and pleasant look.
