Introduction to Tatras, Slovakia
The Slovakian region of Tatras is located on the northern border with Poland. It is divided into two main areas, the High and the Low districts. Many visitors who choose to stay in the properties come to experience the beautiful clean air and countryside and to enjoy the many spa treatments available in the region. There are more properties located in the High Tatras. This is a great area for hiking, and enjoying the many sports and activities on offer. The Tatras hotels in Low Tatras have great slopes for downhill to nearby skiing and access museums, castles, hot springs and scenic nature reserves. The best way to get to the region is via the city of Poprad which has both a train station and an airport. From there, you can either take a local bus to the various towns or hire a car.
