Beach: areas along the south side of the island are pleasant enough and have been man made with imported coconut palms and sand, along with plenty of beachfront facilities and games. It gets a bit crowded with locals on the weekends but you can choose between Siloso Beach, Central Beach and Tanjong Beach.
Golf: is offered at three lovely courses. Serapong is open to the public on all days except Sundays and Tuesdays, while Tanjong is only open to non-members on Sundays. But a game doesn’t come cheap, costing well over S$100 for 18 holes. More affordable and fun is Wondergolf, which is a less serious course for all abilities and has 45 putting greens and three fun ‘mashy’ courses among ravines, waterfalls and other man-made hazards.
If the weather is unkind you can visit any one of the attractions mentioned in the ‘what to see’ section, and there is also a cinema and night market selling souvenirs. The Rasa Sentosa Food Centre, near the causeway bridge, is a good place to settle an appetite after all the activity.
