Of the 155 islands in the Seychelles archipelago, only a small number make it on to tourist itineraries and less than 20 are visited with any regularity. Of these, the three islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue are the focal areas for the tourist infrastructure, with Mahe being the island most visitors will arrive at and the home of the nation’s capital city of Victoria.
