Mahe Island Travel Guide
Golf: the Lemuria Resort Golf Course on Praslin island and the Reef Golf Club on Mahe island are open to both members and non-members and offer the opportunity to enjoy 18 holes of the finest golf amid some truly stunning scenery and settings. Club houses at both courses serve food and refreshments for those needing sustenance after a game.
Tennis: courts are available at all of the reputable hotels across the three main islands and are invariably free to hotel guests while non-guests may make use of the facilities on payment of the required hourly rate.
Walking: opportunities for taking either a pleasant stroll or a vigorous walk are plentiful on all of the islands with beach and marine park areas lending themselves perfectly to the pursuit of such activity. Trails in the parks yield some wondrous sights as well as offering fresh air and good leg-stretching opportunities.
Spa: some of the big hotels such as the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa Hotel and the Sainte Anne Resort & Spa Seychelles offer spa facilities which can be used by both guests and non-guests, with payment required by both. Treatments such as massage, herbal steam baths, Jacuzzis and facials are typically available.
