Acajou Hotel - Praslin Island

The Acajou Hotel is composed of traditional style accommodation fitted with modern amenities to provide comfort for guests. Every guest room is made cosy with tropical décor and earth colours and equipped with a balcony overlooking the sea. Guests can arrange for car rental or bicycle hire with the help of the receptionist to explore the surrounding areas on their own, but there is also a casino within easy walking distance of the property. To unwind, guests can visit the beach for a swim or sunbathing, or they can arrange for a massage provided by an Indonesian therapist. For souvenirs or toiletries, guests can drop by at the hotel’s boutique.

The resort consists mainly of large standard rooms, which are decorated with furnishings keeping with the property's nature theme. The acajou (mahogany) wood is present throughout and all rooms offer a balcony facing the sea.

The restaurant is located just off the lobby and serves international and creole cuisine in a tropical setting. Guests will also find the lobby bar adjacent to the restaurant.

The large open-air reception area is encircled by a large veranda with the restaurant adjacent.

The property is constructed in a natural, rustic style typical of Praslin, with acajou wood imported from the Knysna region of South Africa and green corrugated metal roofs. The concept of the hotel is to integrate nature as much as possible within the property.
