Edinburgh Travel Guide - Airport

Arrivals are located on the terminal’s ground floor and Departures, as well as most of the shopping outlets and other facilities are found on the first floor. ATMs and currency exchanges are found on both levels. Shopping options are extensive at Edinburgh Airport, with a number of brand name shops featured; and bars and restaurants are plentiful both on the first floor as well as in the Departures area.

Transportation: although there is no direct rail access from the airport to the city, there are other options, including buses and taxis that run from outside the arrivals area to the city centre and to nearby cities and towns. From the two rail stations in the city centre you can make ongoing connections to all points in the UK.
Parking: Edinburgh Airport offers more than 2,000 short-term parking spaces in a multi-storey building that’s located a short walk from the terminal. This facility also provides a two hour stopping zone for dropping off and picking up passengers. Surface parking is also provided nearby, at the same rates.
For long-term parking requirements, the ‘Long Stay’ car park provides for stays that are of a minimum of four days, and is connected to the terminal by a courtesy transfer service that runs every 10 minutes from 06:00 to 22:00 and at other times by request.
