The city may not be that large but there are still plenty of activities on offer in Dundee. Like much of Scotland, golf is very popular here – Dundee is only 14 miles from St Andrews, the home of the game. It is also a good base from which to explore the nearby highlands and glens just a short distance outside the city; while the area along the coast also good for hiking.
