Introduction to Saint Andrews, Scotland
St Andrews is located in Fife in Scotland about a one hour drive north of the city of Edinburgh. It is renowned worldwide for its fabulous golf courses but there is more to St Andrews than just golf. It is a great place to spend some time and there are many hotels in St Andrews to choose from. St Andrews is located on the east coast of Scotland and many of St Andrews hotels are located close to the beach. Other hotels in St Andrew are located in the city centre close to buildings of historical interest such as the old cathedral, the castle and St Andrews University. Close to the centre is St Andrews Aquarium, the botanical gardens and the lovely Craigtoun Country Park.
