Introduction to Falkirk, Scotland
Central Scotland is home to a town called Falkirk and around 35,000 people reside here. Falkirk hotels cater to a range of visitors from families through to business travellers and it is the fifth largest urban area in the country. The three main attractions in Falkirk are the remnants of the Antonine wall, the Falkirk Wheel and Callendar House, which also boasts extensive grounds that are ideal for exploring. Many of the hotels in Falkirk are based in the centre of the town while more basic bed and breakfast accommodation can be had on the outskirts. The area is well known for its cultural, recreational and business opportunities and many of the most notable landmarks are buildings and ruins.
