Introduction to Campbeltown, Scotland
The pretty fishing port town of Campbeltown is well known for its ship building and Scotch whiskey making history and its waterfront area is the most popular place to stay. The hotels in Campbeltown located on the waterfront are the most expensive and the most popular and the town has a unique culture that derives from its history in whiskey production. The town is home to an art deco cinema that dates back to 1913 and the local museum makes for an interesting trip. Hotels in Campbeltown are popular when the annual Mull of Kintyre Music Festival takes place and the new Aqualibrium Centre attracts many with its state of the art swimming pool, gymnasium and conference rooms that can be hired out. Hotels in Campbeltown close to the centre are often popular with visitors and there is an airport close to the town that operates a few flights a week to Glasgow.other spellings: canpbeltowmhotels, campbeltowm otel, campbeltonw hotell, campbeltwon hote
