Weather

Weather in Riyadh
The most pleasant time of year is winter, which typically starts around the beginning of November and tails off come the end of February. Temperatures during the day at this time of year usually remain warm at around 10 to 25°C on average.
If you’re lucky, you may get here a year when the daytime temperature drops below 10°C, even going close to zero during an extreme year, but this doesn’t happen too often. Enjoy the nights because rarely does it ever get any cooler than this in the city.
The record temperature in the middle of the year in Riyadh is a staggering 45°C, so too in July. Rarely do daytime temperatures in the summer drop below 25°C at this time, the hottest months of the year.
Between June and September Riyadh almost never sees any rain at all so the heat is typically very dry. August temperatures remain hot, regularly clearing 30°C in the day and rarely dropping below 20°C at night so expect to crank up the air-conditioning.
