Jeddah Travel Guide - Weather

The record lowest temperature at this time of year is 9°C so at least you will never be cold. This period also sees a little rain which can fall as late as April, but there is never very much.
By March and April the temperature and humidity have usually shot back up again with temperatures reaching 35°C on many days. May marks the beginning of the long Jeddah summer which extends until October.
Given the extreme temperatures, visitors to Jeddah are advised to try to travel between October and April, if possible, and should at all times cover themselves in suntan lotion and make sure to carry plenty of water. Most public buildings are fully air-conditioned and provide a break from the heat, at least temporarily.
