Introduction to Castries, Saint Lucia
Over a third of the population of St Lucia, an island north of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, live in its capital city of Castires. Castires is the first stop for most tourists arriving in St Lucia aboard the cruise ships docking at Pointe Seraphine, and while most visitors immediately head for other St Lucia destinations, Castires has quite a few attractions of its own along with a vast amount of hotels in Castires.
