The town of Anse La Raye is a settlement situated along the western coastline of Saint Lucia, an island nation in the Caribbean. It is only a short distance from Marigot Bay, and less than 7,000 people reside in the town. The town is relatively small and as such, there are only a few Anse La Raye hotels to choose from. Nevertheless, visitors will still be enthralled by their experience in this settlement, with accommodation typically close to the main attractions in town. One of the most intriguing things to do while staying here is to witness the Friday night spectacle at the bay's edge, when local fisherman prepare and cook up a feast of seafood for locals and tourists alike. The local church is beautiful and a must-visit. It was built in the late 1700s but refurbished in 1907. Most visitors enjoy a short trip to Anse La Raye Waterfalls, not to mention the stunning River Rock Falls.
