While temperatures can drop exceedingly low at times to -10°C, daytime temperatures don’t generally preclude the possibility of outdoor activity, and visitors will find sightseeing and getting out and about on foot is perfectly feasible within daylight hours.
Come summertime, temperatures rise significantly, with July and August seeing pleasantly warm weather. Rain is however, heaviest during this season, with around 30 per cent of days experiencing some precipitation. To avoid the rain and still get some relatively warm weather, visit Moscow in late spring or early autumn.
