Vasilievsky Island is located in St Petersburg in Russia. It lies between the rivers of Malaya Neva and Bolshaya Neva, and the Smolenka River separates it from Dekabristov Island. Vasilievsky Island makes up the majority of St Petersburg’s historical centre and is connected by Palace Bridge and Blagoveshchensky Bridge to the south.
