Izmailovo Gamma-Delta Hotel - Moscow

The hotel overlooks the former Royal Estate Lake where Peter the Great learned to sail, an early passion for which he exceled and was his inspiration for founding the Russian navy. Also beside the hotel is the Izmailova market which is very popular with both locals and tourist like due to it's competitive prices. Overall this is a very good value western style modern hotel which offers the guests many choices of facilities with easy access to the city centre.

All the rooms have been recently refurbished to a good western standard and are comfortable with enough space for two persons. All the rooms are identical in size with medium sized bathrooms. All the rooms are air conditioned and have all the modern amenties you would expect of a renovated four star hotel.

There are a selection of food and beverage outlets in the hotel and the Beta and Vega hotels are only a short walk away from the hotel itself.

The large lobby seems always busy and although functional hasn't been renovated as recently as the bedrooms which gives in a slightly dated decor.

The building itself plain high rise building typical of Soviet architecture at the time very similar in design to it's other two sister hotels close by.
