Iasi is a regal and proud city in the Moldavian region of Romania. It is known, variously as the city of love and the city on seven hills and it is a major centre of national pride, history and culture. Major landmarks and attractions here include the well known Botanical Garden which the country’s largest and oldest as well as the National Theatre, Opera Hous and the Central University Library. Most of these places are the oldest of their kind in the country. So, there are plenty of things to do in Iasi and plenty of people travel here annually, filling up the rooms in Iasi hotels. The National Romanian Opera is hosted in the Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre and also, the National Philharmonic Orchestra play at the Tatarasi Atheneum.
