Curtea de Arges is a town on the banks of the Arges River, in a valley in the Carpathian mountain range in central Romania. The historical attractions are superlative here and include the Princely Church which is justifiably famous for its interior murals that date back several centuries. Curtea de Arges hotels include some accommodations inside very old buildings with thatched rooftops and these palces offer terrific atmosphere that in some cases includes candle light or even kerosene lamps lighting up winding corridors.
