Lisbon has regular connections to numerous European destinations, particularly in Spain, France and the British Isles. Connections to major cities in the US and Canada are also increasing on the likes of American Airlines, United Airlines and US Airlines. Getting to and from the airport is convenient given the good range of transport options available and its proximity to the centre of town. The metro rail service dœes not run here, however.

Facilities in the terminal building are as you would expect; ATMs, money changers, duty-free shopping, internet services, cafes and restaurants are some of the services available here. The airport also has a small number of first-class lounges.
