Introduction to Viseu, Portugal
Considered to be one of the largest metropolitan areas in Portugal, Viseu is about 80kms east of the coastal city Aveiro, and south-east of Porto. The city currently holds almost 400,000 residents, and exudes a fascinating history. There are plenty of attractions to keep visitors busy, making Viseu an important tourist hub in the north region of Portugal.
