Housed in a carefully preserved and immaculate pousada, the Pousada do Infante Hotel Sagres is beautifully located near the coast. The sandy beaches of the southwestern Algarve are within reach, as well as attractive historic landmarks, including the church of Vila do Bispo, which dates back to the 17th century. The portrait of Prince Henry 'the navigator' looks down onto the reception as long as many good naval prints.

This is a purpose built lighthouse and was one of the early Pousadas and since its erection in 1960 it has been considerably improved and upgraded. There is a new bar and its theme is strictly maritime. Influenced by the major sea battles which took place on the coast of Sagres centuries ago. The whole Pousada is kept immaculate.
