Pousada de Santa Cruz Hotel - Faial - Horta (Azores)

A historic 16th century fortress, the Pousada de Santa Cruz Hotel, Faial - Horta is on the island of Faial, central to the Azores region. It is close to the port of Horta and overlooks the beautiful bay that stretches to the neighbouring Pico Island. It is ideal for exploring some of the most interesting attractions on the island, like Caldeira do Cabeco Gordo, a volcanic crater 400 metres in depth. The building features contemporary style bedrooms, along with a couple of suites, all of which have cable TV and internet connection.
