Restaurant:
The cuisine at the Pousada is good and personal. Gaspacho a alentajana and sopa alentajana are two typical soups of the region. Asis ensopada de cabrito (kid soup). The wine of the regional is also very good. Romeira, a red wine, should be tasted.

Welcoming spacious waiting area with an open fireplace framed by two large white columns.Leather sofas and cane furniture.
Exterior:
This building was originally the office and home of the chief engineer in charge of the construction of the barragem de santa clara. A vast artificial lake formed by damming the river Mira and its attributaires. It now gives much needed water to the surrounding farmlands.
