Introduction to Murtosa, Portugal
The town of Murtosa is found within the municipality of the same name, in the district of Aveiro. The town isn't an overly large settlement, boasting only a few thousand people. It is situated close to the northern coastline of Portugal, upon a large lake that provides excellent fishing for locals and tourists alike to enjoy. The main industries within the town are canneries and fishing. However, tourism plays an increasingly important role within the settlement, and visitors can certainly find some interesting Murtosa hotels to stay in.
