The lovely city of Evora sits on the coast of Portugal and enjoys a very temperate climate with hot, dry summers and winter temperatures that very rarely dip below 5 C even during the coldest week in the heart of the winter time. Hotels in Evora celebrate open spaces and quaint shutters and balconies are the norm. Other hotels in Evora tip towards the high end of the tourist market and these hotels offer all out luxury, convenience and amenities. Many have private health clubs, resorts and even private sections of beach with rented deck chairs and an exclusive clientele. Hotels in Evora are not all five star outfits however and in fact there is a healthy budget travel scene here with several well equipped backpacker hostels with dormitory style accommodations and very reasonable bed prices.
